The songs in this compilation CD is from recordings made between 1969 and 1972. There are no liner notes or musician information. Apparently this absence is true for all albums of Tito Rodriguez from this period.

Trying to figure out where all the songs came from this compilation was quite tricky. This is my best guess. All of the songs came from recordings done with Tito Rodriguez's own label, TR Records. All recordings from TR records became part of another label called Disco Hit Productions (a.k.a. Top Ten Hits). It would appear that at least four original LPs were released before Tito Rodriguez died. These are most likely Inolvidable (DH2061) in 1969, Palladium Memories (DH2064) in 1971, Algo Nuevo (DH2065 with Louie Ramirez), and 25th Anniversary Live Performance (DH2066) about a month before his death (presumably 1973). Additional material not released in these four albums were included in two other albums - Reliquias De Tito Rodriguez (DH2062) and En La Soledad (DH2067), which borrowed songs from other albums.

The best material for dancing are all from two albums - Palladium Memories and Algo Nuevo. El Que Se Fue made salsanewyork.com honor list. Other songs worth checking out include Mama Guela (though too fast to consider dancing), Yambu, Ahi No, A Los Muchachos De Belen, Perico Perejil and El Mulato Rumbero.
